Circulation Services

Circulation Services is responsible for checking out and renewing books, items on reserve for classes, interlibrary loan, storage retrieval, shipping and receiving and security for Morris Library.

Items placed on electronic reserve at Morris Library are subject to copyright regulations. Morris Library monitors current law and its interpretation and applies this to requests for electronic reserve materials.

SIU COPE Fund

The SIU COPE (SIU Carbondale Open-Access Publishing Equity) Fund seeks to advance the use of open access as a means of distributing the research and creative work of the SIUC university community, by providing financial support to cover the fees charged for open access publication. This is a pilot project which will be reviewed at the end of FY12, and annually thereafter.
