Librarian Offers Research Questions & Answers Weekly at Dunn-Richmond Center
The Student Innovation Incubator will be hosting SIU’s new social sciences librarian, Jordan Forbes, for two hours of research “questions and answers” every Monday at 2:30 p.m. Jordan has recently joined the Morris Library staff and is working hard to become a resource to the University community. She will be available every Monday from January 27, 2014 through May 5, 2014, with the exception of spring break.
The initial process will be as follows but may be updated based on demand and logistics. Jordan will be based in the Collaborate room of the Student Innovation Incubator, room 239 in Dunn-Richmond. Time with Jordan will be on a first-come, first-served basis and she will do her best to help everyone who shows up within the two-hour timeframe, although additional follow-up may be necessary. This market research assistance is FREE to members of the Student Innovation Incubator, SBDC clients and IMEC clients, Business Incubator and Research Park tenants, SIU faculty/staff/students, as well as members of the community. To make the process flow well, please have your research questions at least partially framed so that you have a place to start when you meet with Jordan.
