“First Fridays Music at Morris Library,” a free lunchtime concert series open to the university community and the public, continues at noon on Feb. 7, in the library rotunda.

Members of the Marjorie Lawrence Opera Theater -- students Stephen Kuhn, Brent Gravois, Richie Lisenby, Clint Warf, Allison Spiller, Vincent, Hale, Emily Davis, Kevin Smith, Laura Kucharik, Julie Shiely and Tonya Deleon -- will perform selections from “The Barber of Seville,” “The Marriage of Figaro,” “Cinderella,” and “The Bat.” Paul Transue, associate professor and opera coach, will accompany the ensemble.

Attendees can pre-order a brown bag lunch. The SIU School of Music, Morris Library, and the Friends of Morris Library sponsor the concert series.
