Two Scholarships Available Through Records Management

Two $1,000 scholarships for Fall 2013 are available from the Bill Potter Memorial Scholarship Fund through the Records Management Department of Morris Library.

Applications for the scholarships are due May 7, 2013.

Entries must include a 500-word essay on "the future of paper records" and a cover sheet with name, address, class standing, major, telephone number, and email contact information. Entrants should turn in two (2) sets of the complete application, an original and a copy. Applications should be sent to Jamie Qualls, Records Management, 1835 University Press Drive, Carbondale, IL 62901-6808.

Entrants must be undergraduates with at least sophomore standing, a minimum of a 3.0 GPA, enrolled at SIUC for Fall 2013, and a demonstrated interest in micrographics, records, and/or image management.

The award will be deposited in the winners' Bursar accounts. Proof of enrollment will be required before the funds are released. Please note that this award might alter financial aid packages.
