Morris Library has a number of services for faculty and other instructors at SIU Carbondale.
- Copyright and Electronic Reserve
- Items placed on electronic reserve at Morris Library are subject to copyright regulations. Morris Library monitors current law and its interpretation and applies this to requests for electronic reserve materials.

- SIU COPE Fund
- The SIU COPE (SIU Carbondale Open-Access Publishing Equity) Fund seeks to advance the use of open access as a means of distributing the research and creative work of the SIUC university community, by providing financial support to cover the fees charged for open access publication. This is a pilot project which will be reviewed at the end of FY12, and annually thereafter.
